Katie Nguyen Kalvoda is the founder and CEO of G3 Ventures, a social enterprise specializing in impact investments, innovative philanthropy and community advocacy. Prior to this, Ms. Kalvoda worked in the investment management industry as Chief Investment Officer of Newport Wealth Management. In that role, she managed a portfolio comprised of commercial real estate, private equity and liquid investments. Her achievements earned her many national and international awards including Angel Investor of the Year and Best Business Leader in Real Estate Investments. In 2018 and 2021, Katie chaired the Impact Investing Conference for Campden Wealth in San Diego and Palm Springs.
Ms. Kalvoda has many charitable pursuits. Katie is a board member of the Weingart Foundation, serving as Vice Chair of the Investment Committee. She is the CEO of the Kalvoda Family Foundation, founder of Advance OC, Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair of the Sisters of St. Joseph Healthcare Foundation, Board Member of Mission Hospital Foundation and Board Member of the California Health Facilities Financing Authority.
Shannon is the Chief Executive Officer of Beacon Pointe Advisors (“Beacon Pointe”), which she founded in 2002. Today, Beacon Pointe is one of the largest Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firms specializing in full-service financial planning and research-driven investments, partnering with institutions, retirement-sponsored plans, and private clients. As of YE2023, the firm has more than $30 billion in assets under advisement, with more than 50 offices and 470+ employees nationwide.
Through Shannon’s passion for financial education, she is a founding member of the Beacon Pointe Women’s Advisory Institute (founded in 2011), and Beacon Pointe Advisors is proudly the largest female-led RIA in the nation. She also co-authored Your Dollars, Our Sense, an International Best Seller, having ranked #1 in six business and finance categories. The book and its authors have also been featured on KKFX Fox 11, KMIR NBC Desert Living, CBS 8 San Diego, VoyageLA Magazine, and the KTLA 5 Morning Show.
Beyond her corporate achievements, Shannon actively serves or has served on numerous boards, including Banc of California, Viewpoint Ventures, Young Presidents Organization (YPO) Orange County Chapter, the Charles Schwab Advisor Council, the TD Ameritrade Advisory Council, CNBC Financial Advisory Council, as well as the UCI Athletic Fund Board, Sisters of St. Joseph in Orange, and the Trustee for the Friends of the Girl Scout Council of Orange County. Prior to founding Beacon Pointe Advisors, Shannon played a pivotal role in Roxbury Capital’s Private Client Group, overseeing investment policy, asset allocation, and equity strategy. She also managed Roxbury’s Socially Responsible Investments Team and contributed to the firm’s strategic direction as a member of Roxbury’s Management Committee.
Shannon earned her MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and her undergraduate degree from UC Irvine, where she also played on the Women’s Volleyball Team. She resides in Newport Beach, California, with her husband, where they raised their four children.
Lauren’s background in nonprofit development made her eager to activate more capital for social change, leading her to co-found Mission Driven Finance, an impact asset management firm and Certified B Corporation that designs, develops, and manages capital vehicles to advance inclusive economic opportunity.
As Chief Community Officer, she leads the design of community-based strategy, providing a frame for both internal culture & partner relationships. Lauren’s blended heritage—Irish, Chinese, and Native Hawaiian—informs her approach to reconnecting capital and community.
Prior to building Mission Driven Finance, she spent nearly 10 years fundraising for a wide variety of nonprofits—from large universities to small, volunteer-run initiatives. Lauren served on the steering committee of the Inclusive Capital Collective at Zebras Unite, on the board of Business for Good San Diego, and as a Social Venture Circle Innovation Entrepreneur. She is an active member of many philanthropic initiatives. Lauren is an alumna of Punahou School in Honolulu and Columbia University in the City of New York.

Rama is a partner in Transform VC, a Silicon Valley firm enabling 1000 tech founders to impact a billion and make a billion by investing in deep tech with climate and social impact. Rama was instrumental in building the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in the Middle East.
