Game-changing newcomer RevHubOC seeks to dramatically expand its vision after aligning with OneOC, Orange County’s key nonprofit resource center.
Orange County, CA, 2020 | As a community of investors, entrepreneurs, mentors, and partners, Orange County-based RevHubOC merges entrepreneurial for-profit ventures with non-profit sustainability both at home and around the globe. As the recipient of a new fiscal sponsorship from OneOC, RevHubOC plans to extend its reach within—and beyond—the local non-profit ecosystem.
OneOC is recognized as Orange County’s key resource center for non-profit organizations. Though RevHubOC is not a non-profit organization, its goal of addressing world-wide social issues through entrepreneurship innately aligns with OneOC’s mission. This invoked OneOC to bequeath RevHubOC with both a financial sponsorship and a strategic gateway into the non-profit community.
The extensive resources, expertise, and network that accompany OneOC’s alliance should prove extremely beneficial to RevHubOC. President and CEO Stephan Erkelens is focusing the company’s efforts on shaping the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Orange County first, before venturing into the rest of the state, the nation, and eventually the world at large.
“OC is an emerging sector and economic driver, spawning new jobs where potential millions are being employed to benefit society, the environment, and other valuable causes,” says Erkelens. “Local foundations, churches, corporations, universities, and the OC public sector all encourage innovation here.”
A long-time innovator of the coffee industry, Erkelens co-founded RevHubOC with the support of other seasoned professionals who have a proven track record in charitable giving, business, finance, and social enterprise. Compelled by a unified vision, the group strives to create a better mechanism to fund and sustain social enterprises both at home and around the world. They intend RevHubOC to become a collaborative ecosystem of like-minded individuals where both founders and funders are able to accelerate the impact of nascent social enterprises.
