RevHubOC Sponsors NAWBO-CA Propel 2024 Conference

RevHub partners with The National Association of Women Business Owners, California, in hosting a transformative annual event.

IRVINE, Calif – April 29, 2024. RevHubOC, Orange County’s leading builder of social enterprise ecosystems, announces sponsorship of the Propel 2024 Conference, hosted by The National Association of Women Business Owners, California (NAWBO-CA). This highly interactive event will be held at the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel in Sacramento, CA, from April 29th to 30th, 2024.

The lead convener of the NorthSTAR (Systems to Access Resources) initiative, RevHub has partnered with the local chapter of NAWBO to augment the organization’s reach and trove of resources for all women in Orange County. As such, RevHub’s executive director of ecosystem building, Carma Lacy, will appear on a panel discussion at this year’s annual conference, bridging her years of experience working with government and nongovernmental agencies that help entrepreneurs. Lacy will also share powerful resources and programs essential to sparking business innovation and growth, from funding to programs that develop entrepreneurs.

During the two-day event, another RevHub representative, Bracy Fuentes, the organization’s ideation navigator, will conduct a breakout session offering a solution to the disparity among underserved communities and women in particular. She will illustrate the advantage women entrepreneurs have in building and scaling businesses that are not only successful by current standards, but that also drive social and environmental impact.

Lacy and Fuentes join an array of notable figures scheduled to lead the event, including keynote speaker and Olympian, Chaunté Lowe; CEO of NAWBO National, Jen Earle; California state treasurer, Fiona Ma; and senior vice president of National Life Group, Rebecca Dunne. The conference will also feature opportunities to engage directly with local legislators, and it will showcase the Woman Business of the Year Award’s ceremony, a black-tie event that celebrates outstanding contributions of women entrepreneurs.

“Attending NAWBO-CA Propel isn’t just about expanding your network; it’s about expanding your horizons,” says Melissa Northway, president of NAWBO-CA. “It’s a transformative journey where your business gains insights and opportunities, while you, as a leader, evolve and grow. In this empowering space, collaboration fuels creativity, knowledge cultivates confidence, and together, we rise, both in business and in self.”

Complementing NAWBO-CA’s mission, RevHub’s NorthSTAR creates unprecedented access to tools and strategic guidance for aspiring entrepreneurs and existing businesses alike, providing free support throughout Orange County while strengthening the local entrepreneurial ecosystem. RevHub looks forward to further involvement with NAWBO as the organization quickly expands its mission throughout California, and beyond.
