Stephan represents a unique blend of multicultural skills and experiences, including broad commodities production and trading in both producing and consuming nations. Offering hands-on expertise in day-to-day non-profit management and large-scale resource mobilization, he has worked in all phases of a business and also served on the boards of organizations in Central America, South America, and the US. Stephan has invested himself in strategic initiatives involving nonprofit management and philanthro-capitalism, developing considerable experience in the non-profit sector, public-private partnerships, and, more recently, the merging of entrepreneurial for-profit ventures in support of non-profit sustainability. In the last 10 years, he has focused on developing programs and companies that address some of the greatest challenges affecting industries in Orange County. Subsequently, he founded RevHub in 2019 and serves as the full-time president and CEO.
Julie is an experienced leader who has spent decades working in fast-paced fields such as fintech, startups, advertising, and promotions. Her career background lends her a keen understanding of the unique challenges innovators face when building their companies. Prior to joining RevFund, Julie was director of the SBDC @ UCI Beall Applied Innovation, building the new tech center from the ground up. Under her management, the Center’s team of business consultants helped clients generate over $250M in economic impact in four years and saw a 180% increase in clients. Simultaneously, as executive director of Cove Fund II, Julie built and ran day-to-day operations for the $14M seed stage venture capital fund with an average deal flow of 250 startups a year.
Chris brings a wide variety of experience to RevHub. Having started out as a software developer, he successfully transitioned to a small businessowner, then into the role of an executive manager. Chris primarily led engineering teams in the development of a wide variety of hardware and software products with global reach. He is transitioning once again into helping build ecosystems involved in social entrepreneurship and community resilience. This includes serving as RevHub’s Climate Initiatives Project Lead for the Climate Action Business Incubator (CABI).
Tim is a nonprofit consultant and social sector leader committed to helping organizations, professionals, and volunteers build and lead sustainable, impactful, and effective organizations. His professional life in the social sector spans three decades, including positions as CEO of the Irvine Public Schools Foundation (IPSF), VP of Community Relations for Orange County United Way, executive director of the Orange County Homeless Issues Task Force, and director of Serving People in Need (SPIN). Among many achievements is his leadership of a collaborative of nonprofit and local government agencies that secured the largest federal homeless grant in Orange County history, an effort that has resulted in over $300 million coming to the region since 1996. In addition to his role with RevHub, Tim is a special projects consultant with UCI Beall Applied Innovation, expanding entrepreneurial opportunities for first-generation, low-income, and under-represented students, faculty, and alumni.
Peter offers more than 40 years of marketing and sales experience with the largest direct marketing company in the US. He serves as a sales strategist for RevHubOC and other startups focused on creating a thriving social enterprise ecosystem in Southern California, and he also assists Project FoodBox with its mission to build a more equitable US food system. As co-founder of International Farming—a privately owned institutional investment manager—Peter takes a holistic approach to agriculture by investing in farmers and technology to help grow a stronger, more transparent food economy. He has co-founded Gamble Nelson, a high-end Napa Valley wine distributed throughout the US, and serves on the boards of several organizations. An alumnus of San Diego State University, Peter is passionate about mentoring young business-minded individuals as they embark on changing the trajectory of their lives.
