Carma is an economic and workforce development executive with expertise in strategically organizing communities and programs alike. Responsible for implementing RevHub’s NorthSTAR initiative, she previously served as the executive director of the Orange County Workforce Development Board (OCWDB) and the director of workforce and economic development for Orange County. As such, she created local policies and implemented countywide strategies to address education and workforce issues that impact local businesses and job-seekers. She also provided fiscal and program oversight for millions of dollars in funding received from multiple government agencies. An avid learner who holds a master’s of Public Administration, an MBA, and a BS in Law, Carma contributes to the community by donating her expertise in project management, business development, and social media skills to local nonprofits.
