This past May, RevHub hosted our Women in Impact Investing event and featured many inspiring leaders, including Katie LaFleur, partner at FullCycle. In this clip, LaFleur shares a pivotal moment from a decade ago while working with Pencils of Promise to build schools in Sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, and Central America. She recalls how a white paper on future climate impacts profoundly changed her approach to impact investing. Realizing the climate crisis would affect the very communities she was helping, LaFleur committed to prioritizing climate action in her investment strategies to ensure the longevity of her work and the well-being of these communities.
